登り窯スタジオはじめました。
未来への想い
私達が未来に向かって何かしらの夢を見る様に、縄文時代の人々も夢を見たの
だろうか。
彼らには信仰があったが、その信仰は彼らに夢を見させてあげられたのだろうか。
もしかしたら、未来を思い描くまでもなく、今日を生きる為の単純な作業の繰
り返しだったのかもしれない。厳しい天候に襲われ、明日も我が身を守れる様、
信仰に寄り添う日々だったのかもしれない。しかし、きっと彼らにも夢はあった
はずだ。彼らの文化を見る限り、そこに、人間の強い意志と信念、執着が感じら
れるからだ。大地と人類が共鳴し、恵みを授かり、愛を育む。そんな本来の
人類としての夢が彼らにもあったのだろう。
しかし、現在の私達は大地を思う気持ちとは裏腹に、科学技術を発展させ、人間
が思うが故の人間の世界を構築して行った。恵みを授かる前に自分達で安易に補い、
本当の愛と言うものも薄れて行ってしまったのではなかろうか。
縄文人の夢が今でも根付いているとするならば、それを受け止めた自然の力が、
現代の私達にそうではないと言うことを教えようとしてくれてるのではないだろうか。
そして、そう考える私達の土へのアプローチは、縄文時代から築いてきた文化
を受け継ぐ行為でなくてはならない。
今宵も私達は夢を見る。いつの日か文化を越え、国を越え、戦いを越え、全てが接続して
行くことを。生命の連続性の上に立つ一瞬の輝きであることを胸に置き、その一部となり
繋いで行けることを。

中村錦平(Kimpei Nakamura)に師事
2010年12月23日中野ブロードウェイOz zingaroギャラリーの予定地にて行われたクリスマスイベント ジンガロベルの会場内にて村上隆(Takashi Murakami)さんの「君たちもっと話しなよ。」その一言の引き合わせにより私達は巡り逢い、翌年の2011年6月13日にアートデュオを結成しました。縄文時代や古事記、日本の伝統や風習から始まり、縄や土、ベンガラ、芭蕉の葉、海綿、貝殻などを素材に『焼かない陶芸』シリーズなどを考案し、日本における美意識のパラドックスや日本と西洋の文化の捻れなどを基に『美が人間の純粋意識に触れた時、何を引き寄せ、何とコンタクトしているのか？』『現代における救いとは何か？』を考察します。
